Kids Own Uniform Option

Although not compulsory, our Kids Own uniform is a wonderful option available to families who would like to make mornings a little easier and help their child feel an extra sense of belonging. Many children love wearing their uniform-it helps them feel proud, connected, and ready for their day of learning and play. Families also appreciate the convenience of simple, stress-free dressing without the daily worry of choosing outfits. Our uniform option is designed for comfort, practicality, and a true sense of community, making it a thoughtful addition to your child's learning journey.

Food Service

Kids Own supplies meals for all children including children who are attending sessional kindergarten.

Kids Own Early Childhood Learning Centre employs a full-time cook who prepares all meals in our registered kitchen. We cater for your child’s nutritional needs through our 4-week rotating menu, which is displayed on the Family Notice Board in the hallway of the centre. These are continually revised to suit the dietary requirements of the children within our environment. We ask that all Kindergarten children bring a packed lunchbox for their afternoon tea snack each day that they attend (including any extra days). This is part of our school readiness skills of packing and opening our own lunchboxes. A list of recommended snacks for the afternoon tea lunchbox will be provided to all families at enrolment. Reminders will also be uploaded to our Online platform. We suggest you pack healthy food options and limit unhealthy food options. Healthy snack options may include fruit, sandwiches, vegetable sticks, and crackers. Our healthy and nutritional menu considers the cultures and dietary requirements of each child. Our qualified chef creates freshly cooked, healthy, nutritious meals with the best produce, receiving rave reviews from both children and families.

Programs

We have a safe and friendly atmosphere where children are welcomed as individuals and feel a sense of belonging, with customised daily routines to suit each child.

Babies

We partner with you to provide a safe, quality, family-centred learning environment where every child is respected and nurtured. We continually develop our skills and explore new ways to enrich your child’s early learning experience.

Toddler

Indoor and outdoor play-based experiences are an integral part of our program. Educators plan a diverse range of experiences to create opportunities for your child in both structured and spontaneous play.

Pre-kindy

Our programs are inspired by the wisdom and teachings of early childhood theorists and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and aim to develop children’s emotional, social, and cognitive intelligence.

Kindergarten

The Kindergarten curriculum continues to emphasise play-based learning; however, it offers additional intentional learning times where the focus is on literacy and numeracy, socialisation, self-regulation, and independence.

“The educators at Kids Own will always remember that you have entrusted them with taking care of and educating your child and are committed to providing a safe and friendly environment where the children can thrive in all aspects of life.”
